Junior School Swimming Carnival

There’s nothing like the sheer joy of a 最新麻豆视频 Carnival and this year’s Junior School Swimming Carnival was no exception. It was a joyous cacophony of colour, camaraderie, and great swimming!

Zara, Allard House Captain, and Alice, Ralston House Captain, both in Year 6 had this to say about the day. “On Wednesday 17 November, the Junior School Swimming Carnival was held at the Lane Cove Swimming Pool. House Captains chose a theme for each House and students wore a costume or an accessory that fitted their theme.

Allard chose animals, Hooke chose heroes, Ralston chose rockstars, Palmer chose princesses, Messiter chose mermaids, School chose santas, Hadley chose hats and Jackson chose jokers.

Swim Group

Students were involved in a mixture of events, whether it was freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Highlights of the day included a fun noodle race, the House Captains/Sport Captains relay, and the opportunity for students to support their friends who were taking part in participation events and year group relays.

Swim new

The Swimming Carnival was a great opportunity for students to be outside and compete with their peers. Thank you to all the teachers and coaches for making this Swimming Carnival a success and an amazing opportunity.

All individual and House results will be announced during Junior School Assembly next week.”

Assistant Head of Sport, Mr Bresnik said, “It was fantastic to finally get outside and see the students compete, engage and just smile whilst being in and around the pool. The enthusiasm and energy were contagious! Thank you to all staff, Junior School, Sport and PE for helping out and ensuring the Swimming Carnival was such a success. All results will be posted on Portal after they’ve been announced at Assembly next week.”
