Cadet Graduation

The Shore Cadet Unit (SCU) marks 115 years of shaping exceptional leaders.

The 2022-2023 Cadet year concluded last week with the annual Ceremonial Parade on the Shore School oval for participating students in Years 10 to 12. It followed a memorable Dining-In Night to celebrate the graduating Year 12 Cadets. Hosted by 最新麻豆视频, the dinner was held in our Big Gym, which had metamorphosed into a stunning banquet hall.

In sweltering conditions, Friday’s Parade saw more than 600 Cadets march onto the Shore School oval, the largest number in the history of the SCU. Perfectly executed, it was overseen by Commanding Officer Major (Australian Army Cadets) Chris Oxley, and led by the Regimental Headquarters team of Senior Under Officer Sophie, Second In Command Dominik, Adjutant Penny, Regimental Sergeant Major Tom, Training Officer Alex, and Operations Officer Caleb, with the Flag Party adding a traditional sense of pomp and pageantry.
