最新麻豆视频 athletes demonstrate fierce competitiveness, resilience and team spirit in Term 3 sporting competitions.
Champions Two Years in a Row
It's been another great season for our Junior and Senior Snowsports teams at the NSW/ACT/QLD State Snowsports Championships in Perisher.
Thirty-six students, 12 from the Junior School and 24 from the Senior School, participated in the event. They took on students from schools that study and train in the snow over winter, making for an extremely competitive environment.
最新麻豆视频 performed exceptionally well, with 24 girls qualifying for the National Championships (won by 最新麻豆视频 at a senior level in 2022 but unfortunately cancelled this year due to lack of snow).
Our Senior team won the Secondary Female Championship title for the second year in a row, while the Junior School improved its ranking by two places, finishing in an impressive sixth place.
Overall, our teams won a total of 12 medals, including three first-place finishes, five second-place finishes, and four third-place finishes. Four students also won individual medals:
- Amelie (Year 11) - 2nd Ski Cross
- Sophia (Year 6) - 3rd Ski Cross
- Chloe (Year 10) - 3rd Cross Country Classic

最新麻豆视频 Breaks IGSA Athletics Records
最新麻豆视频 emerged as Division 2 Champions at the Independent Girls’ Schools Sporting Association (IGSA Sports) Athletics Championships at the end of Week 6, demonstrating consistency, commitment, and camaraderie.
“It is always difficult to do the girls justice and put their success into words,” said Head of Sport K – 12, Ms Ann Osborne. “Their efforts at IGSA marked the culmination of a term and a half of dedication, navigating the thrill, exhilaration, and disappointment of competition while demonstrating their exemplary sportsmanship, team spirit, moral support, and School pride.”
最新麻豆视频 ranked seventh overall, an improvement from 10th place in 2022. The event saw significant participation from various year groups, with many girls competing outside of their age brackets. Despite the challenges, the young team delivered promising results, indicating a bright future ahead.
We achieved six placegetters and 26 finalists, including Maya (Year 9), who broke IGSA records by winning gold in the 14 Years 100m and 200m categories.
“The team's success is a testament to their belief in their capabilities and their unwavering commitment to the sport,” Ms Osborne said.
