On a bright Thursday morning in November, East Commons filled with anticipation as 94 Year 6 students gathered for their graduation ceremony, marking the end of their Junior School journey at 最新麻豆视频.
The significance of the occasion was captured in Principal, Dr Briony Scott's address, where she shared wisdom from poet, Annie Dillard: "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives. What we do with this hour, and that one, is what we are doing." Her message to parents acknowledged the precious nature of childhood, encouraging them to cherish every moment of their daughters' development on the road to adolescence.

In their reflections, Year 6 students, Shreya and Kiran, captured the spirit of their Junior School years. Kiran's speech brought warmth and humour, as she recalled her first day: "I still remember walking into Kindy through the school gates with an oversized backpack that felt like it was filled with bricks!" Her memories of friendship, School camps, and learning resonated with many in attendance.
Ms Emma Poole, Head of Middle School, welcomed the graduating class to their next chapter with confidence and encouragement. "High school is a fresh start, a blank page where new adventures, challenges, and opportunities await," she assured them. "Make your way across Walker Street with confidence: You are ready and your Middle School adventure awaits."
The ceremony culminated in a spirited performance of Foo Fighters’ Times Like These by the Year 6 cohort, conducted by Mr Thomas Gray and accompanied by Ms Josephine Allan on piano, before the traditional singing of the School Song with our enduring motto: Ut Prosim, that I may serve.
