Hola and Feliz dÃa de Muertos everyone! This week, ×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ has been celebrating Mexico’s Day of the Dead, decorating sugar skulls, building an ‘altar’ on the bridge, and handing out stickers to students.

Yesterday, Dr Scott hosted a reunion with a difference: a virtual White and Blue Afternoon Tea via Zoom – complete with Melting Moments, teabags and a ×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ tea towel – for alumnae who left the School in 1980 or earlier.

Project Connect

Project Connect has been a wonderful way for our younger Wenonians to learn what the School was like in the past and forge connection with older alumnae, who have been forced to isolate due to COVID-19.

At the end of this term, our Year 6 students will present a virtual PYP Exhibition, showcasing their learning as well as their commitment to hope and positive change.

Year 10 conducted an action-packed STEM Day for Junior School last week, with fun experiments galore. There were exploding volcanoes, dinosaur hunts, egg drops and boat races.
Viva España at MUNA 2020

Last term, ×îÐÂÂ鶹ÊÓƵ hosted the 2020 Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) forum. Students competed in teams against each other, with Spain (congrats Mya and Neve) placing first.

Our Year 10 PASS students lived out their Olympic dreams on Wednesday, with an excursion to Penrith Whitewater Stadium, competition venue for the canoe/kayak slalom events at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

Last Thursday, Year 6 marked a very special milestone in their lives - their graduation from Primary School – with a Principal’s Assembly in the Independent Theatre, which was livestreamed to parents.
